PMDG737 update and FS2Crew

Hi guys,

 

I have seen related posts but this one may be slightly different.

 

I have been running the NGX on the old FSX for some time along with FS2Crew voice and I have been having a great time with it.

 

My NGX is the boxed version and I came across the Aerosoft site update for it. I uninstalled the old NGX and installed the new one. I thought it was version D but the aircraft.cfg identifies it as Build 1.10.6461. It could be version D as the weather radar is working.

After running FSX and confirming that the NGX was working okay I started FS2Crew and there was the SDK error.

 

I uninstalled FS2Crew and reinstalled but the error this time was:

Not sure what is going on here but it looks like I have to go back to 1C and forget about updating the NGX.

 

Running FSX on Windows 7 Professional 64 bit. DX9.

I purchased the NGX reboot and PMDG 777 products and they are amazing.  Is there ever any updates adding features.  I was flying through some strong turbulence and there is no PA announcment for the NGX reboot but PMDG 777 has it.  Just wondering.  Thanks.

FS2Crew Button 2.3 with Steam-FSX does SDK-Error

Hi folks,

 

I am using the PMDG 737NGX with SP1C and the FS2Crew 2.3 (not the reboot one) special Bundle.

I have several 3rd party liveries installed. Now when I am flying offline with the Free Flight mode, I have no issues at all...I chose the 737 with a custom livery and everything is okay. I also checked all the FS2Crew tweaks, 2D Cockpit, the command line inside of that .INI file which I don't remember anymore now and the Default NGX Startup state as default. 

Like I said, when flying offline, everything works fine but as I log in inside the Steam multiplayer and connect to a session, chose the airplane (with our without a custom livery, it doesn't matter), I will get a SDK-Error when opening the FS2Crew interface... I really don't have a clue how that could even happen because everything works offline... could it have something to do with "live weather" which is default-active by almost every online-game host?

 

So desperate :sad:

Question about FS2Crew

Hello everybody.  Is FS2Crew the same thing as FSPassengers?  I want to get both, but if they're both the same or do the same, I might as well get FS2Crew.  What's the difference?

Problems using FS2Crew after re-install

I have used this programme before successfully but having had to re-install I'm having problems.

 

Having re-installed FS2Crew, I uninstalled and re-installed the 737NGX. To make sure I had the latest NGX files I downloaded the base and expansion packs from the PMDG site and installed them.

 

Having enabled voice control in the Crew configurator and fired up the NGX, when that has initialized I start FS2Crew. The green bar says "FS2Crew voice control started!" and then in the Crew display it says SDK error and a voice says the PMDG 737NGX has not initialized - but it has!

 

I've checked the panel.cfg file and that appears to have the FS2Crew entries in it.

 

Can you tell me my next step(s) to get this working, please?

vPilot and FS2Crew

Ok, I have searched the forums and I did not see anything about my problem so it might just be a configuration on my end.

 

I fly on Vatsim and I use vPilot to connect to their servers. I just downloaded the iFly 737NG Series as well. I have not flown the 737NG on Vatsim yet because I have been learning the FMC and Nav operations. When I used any other plane (CRJ700) on Vatsim and connected with vPilot I didn't have any communication problems thru my microphone, the controllers heard me clearly.

 

I installed FS2Crew for less workload in the 737NG (Which is Awesome BTW!!). FS2Crew works fine by itself and the speech recognition works great and recognizes me clearly when I speak. I have been using Speech Recognition for other games as well for about a year now so I know that is setup properly.

 

When I run vPilot and FS2Crew together, FS2Crew does not recognize my voice AT ALL while vPilot is running. If I close vPilot, then FS2Crew works again after I close FSX completely and reload without vPilot. This is frustrating because I need vPilot to connect to Vatsim.

 

I am not sure if there is a setting checked wrong or if they conflict with eachother but they will not work together period!

 

Someone please help me troubleshoot this. I am extremely computer savvy so geek talk will work with me. :smile:

 

I tried using FSInn but when I start that program it freezes my Simulator so thats why I went with vPilot. Is there a suggestion for a different program for Vatsim that doesn't conflict with FS2Crew?

 

Any help is appreciated!!

My flights with Aerosoft Airbus in P3D v2.5 usually end with 3.9 VAS usage. I'm thinking of buying FS2Crew but I'm afraid I'll push it over the OOM edge. Approximately how much VAS does FS2Crew use?

Font Problems with the FSX version

Hi

 

I have some font problems with FSX effecting some add ons .. the Wilco Airbus ..IFLY 737 and FS2CREW for the IFLY ....i dont have these problems with FS9 , i will try and get a screen shot later but i wondered what FONT FS2CREW uses for the display window ? and were its put ? .. as i said i have no problems at all with FS9 on the same PC .

FS2Crew 737NGX won't load up anymore...period!

Hey All,

 

I know FSX is very tempermental and stuff will break or just simply stop working without any help from the user.  Well it would appear this has just happened.  My FS2Crew for the NGX was working flawlessly for a very long time.  I did nothing to the sim or the NGX that would otherwise mess up the loading.  Now FS2CREW simply will not load up into the aircraft.  I've troubleshooted everything that is in the manual with no luck.   I'm at a complete loss here as to what on earth happened.  I load up with the default trike and everything. 

 

Anyone on here on the forums experience this and know a solution?  I've already un-installed the program and re-installed it with no luck.  Even loading the button control doesn't work.   The only thing I haven't done yet is re-install the NGX. 

 

Help is appreciated.  Thank you all.

 


I just tested FS2CREW with the AirbusX and the PMDG777 and they don't load up either.  This is very troubling.

General FS2Crew Issues

Hello,

I've been having strange issues with some of my FS2Crew Voice Commander editions.

I run FS9 and I can ensure my mic is heard properly as VATSIM comms are clear and it does work, but not without issue.

On all versions, I can start a flight just fine with FS2Crew and start going through the preflight procedures, but whenever I call 'Preflight/Before Start Checklist' there's no response. I say it again and again, nothing. I have learned that pressing the down button to advance to the next checklist, then the up button to go back to the desired checklist will fix the issue. On the iFly 737 version, I have to do this to get every checklist to function.

On the Level-D 767 version, I got what I can only assume to be a very rare bug while on approach to LAX. Without warning my copilot stopped responding and would just say 'Check' to any and all voice commands. Advancing the checklist and turning voice on and off did nothing.

On my 737 version, the above mentioned issue is one of my main problems, but sometimes while approaching any airport my copilot will say things like 'Approach Checklist Complete' or 'Landing Checklist complete' without having done the checklist and without me saying anything at all. The last issue is that on some points in the checklist, he will get stuck, for example one time this happened during the before start check and he would just keep repeating 'CDU Preflight' no matter what response I gave it.

CTD On 747 Load

I recently purchased FS2 Crew Default 747, but I have been unable to get it to load. Anytime I try to get into the 747 (loading from free flight, loading the tutorial flight, or loading a free flight with a different airplane and changing planes) FSX crashes. I have run the "restore gaugesound.dll" and I did set the FSX 2D panel for the default load. Please advise. Thank you.

Is Master / Slave configuration with P3D V2.5 PMDG777 possible?

Hi all,

On my Master PC if have installed OS Win7 Pro and P3d v2.5 and PMDG 777. On my Slave PC I have installed OS Win 7 Pro and ASN Next, IVAP and vPilot . Both Pcs are connected via Simconnect.

My question, is it possible to install Fs2Crew on the slave Pc?

Do you have experience with such a configuration?

FS2crew MCJQ400 voice input problem

Hey they, I just bought a new Razor Kraken chroma 7.1 headset for my PC and since have not been able to get FS2CREW mjcQ400 version to pick up my voice. I have gone through the voice training several times and have ensured that the language is set to english - US. I get no green bar indicating the program has heard me. I have also selected my headset in the CFG menu.

 

It's strange because when going through the profile training everything appears to work fine, It's not until I try to use FS2CREW that I have a problem.

 

Any help would be much appreciated as I love using your program. my only other solution at this point is to return the headset and try another.

Just wrote about an issue I have in another thread where FS2Crew for some reason can't hear me (the green bar never shows up) although my mic is working just fine everywhere else and now I just realized I seem to have another issue with FS2Crew.

 

Whenever I try to exit out of P3D it goes 'Not responding' and stays like that until I manually force it to close and checking the application log in Windows it says as below. First I didn't realize it was FS2Crew causing this but thought it was just some random hick-up but then I noticed how it happened on every exit (and FS2Crew was the last add-on I installed) so I then tried uninstalling FS2Crew and after that I can exit out of P3D normally again without any issues.

 

I'm running Windows 10 Pro English-US version. Let me know what other details might be needed.

3 minute engine cool down modification?

I recently installed FS Crew. Starting out the manual said to load up the default 737. There is no default 737 in my hanger.

I have used the 737ngx reboot since day one of release and am generally pleased with it although, I've never been able to complete a full flight using voice, mainly due to my hardware setup. I usually revert to button control but find that sometimes this misses a few flows, but it is more convenient because of ease of use and short time to go through the flows.

 

In the Aerosoft Airbus A318/A321 series there is provision to activate the PnF feature, which does the copilot stuff and replies to the PF, I think this is a really good feature for a semi authentic and quick feature of this aircraft. Would FS2Crew consider developing something similar for the PMDG 737ngx - a  variation of the fs2crew button feature but does not require any user input to complete the flows.
