FS2Crew: 747 on FSX:SE

I've just been promoted to Captain at my VA, which means the 747 is now available to me. I've gotten so used to FS2Crew as my First Officer, I wouldn't dream of hopping in to the Queen of the Skies without him...except the current 747 options look a bit...dated. 

 

Do the 747 voiced products work with FSX:SE? And perhaps more importantly, is a 'Reboot' of the 747 product in the works?

How can this happen. I re-install fs2crew, and on every account on the PC it installs 4 pdfs. Whats more it locks them so I can't even move or delete them.

 

I don't know who let that happen, but it is quite annoying. :mad:

Cannot set Altitude to 35100 via voice command

For some strange reason, I cannot set the MCP altitude to 35100 using a voice command.

 

I have tried  "Set altitude 3 5 1 hundred" but I get ignored. (despite the words being correctly interpreted and displayed by the recognition software)

 

"Set altitude 3 5 zero hundred" gives me 35000 and works fine as does "Set Altitude 3 5 thousand"

 

Am I to use the "Set Flight Level" command instead ?  as this appears to work.

FCA Android version - No METAR or TAF

With the FCA Android version I get no METAR or TAF information when entering ICAO codes.

purchased fs2crew; doubts about version

hey guys,

 

I purchased fs2crew button control version for ifly and have some doubts regarding which version is the current one for button control? I purchased this product from flightsimstore, and in the user manual, it is written as version 1.6, but may i please know what is the version given with fligthsimstore download? and where can i find the updates if any to button control version for ifly?

 

Also i have some doubts wrt this product.

 

1. Rather than FO doing all the test checks and other things on overhead panel, i would like to carry out all that. So by not choosing run PF in cfg of fs2crew, this would be enabled right?

 

2. Does fs2crew provides rotate and V2 callous also on take off run in ifly?

 

3. In order to start the departure brief, what is the option i should choose? Also the tutorial that comes with this is not detailed and difficult to understand. How do i start a checklist in a given item? And also, once checklist is being initiated and FO calls the item, for eg engine generators ON, when i set this to ON, would he automatically go to next item in checklist? is this how fs2crew is modelled? Like, FO calls an item, i follow it and set as per he said and then he will move on to the next item.

 

If only the tutorial was a bit detailed and less confusing, i would not have had these doubts.

Wilco feelthere voice and p3d

Hi Bryan,

 

I just purchased the wilco 737 voice version for fsx and did so thinking that the chances were good it might port over to p3d via the migration tool : ) What happens is that when I click on the rmi to activate it, p3d freezes and crashes. I also attempted to get the sp1 version to patch but it said it couldn't exe because it couldn't find the orignal fs 2crew program.

 

Is there any way it might be able to work in p3d or was this just wishful thinking on my part?

 

Please help!

Hi, long time ago I bought FS2Crew for PMDG 373 and for PMDG 800/900 FS9. Now I'm starting up again with FSX-SE and P3D. To that I have addons like PMDG 737 NGX to FSX-Se and Aerosoft Airbus for FSX and P3D so witch product is similar with what I bought to FS9?

"You have control"

Hi Bryan,

 

I have suggestion for the command "you have control" for both the NGX and the T7.

 

If I'm right, the FO doesn't do anything while in control (at least according to a topic I have found in the 747 section.)

 

Is there a way to have the FO to keep matching the heading on the MCP during the cruise as it is normally done by the PF when in autopilot with the LNAV angaged? (unless it is already the case, I have not tried and in that case forget my post).

 

It would be great and add some realism.

 

Also we could also imagine that the FO would manage the center fuel pumps only if he has got the control.

i have a Weird Question , first watch this video  

 

 

you saw how the spoilers extended Literally Quickly ?

I mean not like real a320 the spoilers extending slowly slowly after touchdown 

 

i know this is Silly but can i change spoilers Extend speed in wilco A320 ?

No pilot voices any longer

Hello everyone,

Since some days the voices of the pilots are gone. Other voices are still present. All voice-actions I request are not answered, although I see the text is pronounced good. When I come to crew, e.g. 'Cockpit to ground', I hear 'go ahead'. Only my co pilot does not answer any longer.

I am curious to any solutions.

Windows 10 - Why it's great for FS2Crew!

Attention FS2Crew users from non-English speaking countries:

As you probably know, Windows 10 will be released tomorrow. This is big news for FS2Crew. Why?

Because Windows 10 allows users with non-English versions of Windows to easily download the "ENGLISH - US" language pack.

And, as you all know, you need to be able to set your speech recognizer to "ENGLISH - US" to use voice control.

We expect our Voice Control user based to expand tremendously with Windows 10, especially in the huge German FS market.

It might surprise you, but Germany probably beats the US and the UK in terms of flightsim users numbers.

Auto save FS2CREW configuration

Hello there,

 

I am using several versions of fs22crew. Mostly the default 737 fs2crew, though. I use my own home built 737 cockpit with Prosim737 software. But ok. I have never respond on it, but now its the time to do so.

 

I read that all changes made in the CFG of fs2crew was saved. This has never been for me though. I left it, because it seems not that important. But reading it again some days ago, it's time to ask.

 

How can I use the autosave for CFG in th CFG panel made too. As soon as I start up FSX and starting up fs2crew CFG (configuration), all my chaanges are set to default again. So everytime I want to work with fs2crew, I have to setup the copilot voice volume, DSP buttton off, CAB on and volume to about 3, Units from feet to meters. TA and TL are as I have set them, so hese values are not changing to default values.

 

Thanks for any reply on this. And again still mentioning it again. FS2CREW a must have for every simmer! Makes flying more real in any configuration!! With a thumb up for Bryan and his team and their Superb support!!!

Re-installation problem

Just reinstalled NGX package and now, although the cockpit views are fine the exterior views are sort of "skeletonized". No fuselage... just wings. I know I've seen this addressed before but a search did turn anything up.

Also when reinstalling my acft liveries I get an error message saying "The file C:\ProgramFiles(x86)\Aircraft\PMDG737-800\texture\pmdg_airstairs.bmp could not be opened."

I can't find any such file... what did I do now??
